Home Health FAQs

Answers to the questions Utah families ask us most.

Does Medicare cover home health care?

In most cases, yes — when a physician certifies you need skilled nursing or therapy and you are largely homebound. We verify your eligibility before care begins.

Who qualifies for home health?

Anyone recovering from surgery, illness, or injury, or managing a chronic condition, who would benefit from skilled care at home, with a physician’s order.

Do I need a doctor’s order?

Yes — home health is physician-ordered. If you don’t have an order yet, we’ll help you coordinate one with your doctor.

How quickly can care start?

Often within a day or two of your call and physician order.

What’s the difference between home health and home care?

Home health is skilled, medical care (nursing and therapy) delivered by licensed professionals. Home care is non-medical help with daily living. We focus on skilled home health, and offer aide and companion support as well.

Is your staff licensed?

Yes. Every team member is registered, licensed, or certified by the State of Utah and supervised by our home-health management team.

What areas do you serve?

Northern Utah — including Salt Lake, Davis, and Weber counties — with capacity to serve statewide. Call to confirm your area.
